Russian “peacekeepers” amd Ossetian paramilitaries are still in Gori. Nevertheless it was announced that today they will transfer control over the city to the Georgian law enforcement. It did not happen. They will transfer the control to the representatives of the local authorities in two days. Meanwhile robbery and destruction of the public buildings and infrastructure takes places constantly. Destiny of the citizens remaining in Gori yesterday and today is uncertain, i.e Marika Mgebreshvili, public activist working in Gori lost connection with her father, who was in Gori yesterday till at 3.00 p.m. phone connection with him was last.
There is still no international and hummanitarian organisatons in the zone.
